It is the one-year anniversary of the launch of the Scientists Without Borders web portal, which set in motion the innovative and groundbreaking effort to mobilize and coordinate science-based activities and resources directed at improving the quality of life in the developing world. With your participation, over the last year we have established a great foundation for the initiative. I wanted to take the opportunity of this milestone to tell you about some of the new developments on the website, to update you on our progress, and remind you how you can help to continue the growth of the Scientists Without Borders community.
